This limited edition fine art print captures the legendary racehorse Native River in my distinctive 'nosy pony' style. Available in standard UK and USA sizes, it makes a lovely piece of equestrian home decor for anyone who enjoys horses with true character.
We often see these magnificent racehorses when they are working hard, parading before a race or galloping past on the course. With this painting, I wanted to show a more personal side of the horse behind the athlete, picturing Native River relaxed at home in his stable. The muzzle naturally draws the eye, and because it’s often the first point of contact between horse and human, bringing it forward in the painting helps create a sense of closeness with this gorgeous chestnut racehorse.
Native River is one of six legendary racehorses created for Cheltenham Racecourse in my 'nosy pony' style. As part of this print release, £1 from every print sold is donated to Retraining of Racehorses, a wonderful charity dedicated to helping retired racehorses enjoy fulfilling lives beyond the racetrack.
Georgie Turner is an independent British based in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, creating hand-drawn artwork inspired by the British countryside and its animals. She has collaborated with well-loved country brands such as Cheltenham Racecourse, Blackfort Equestrian and Cotswold Fox, as well as featured in Horse & Rider, sharing her passion for equestrian life with a wider audience.
Prints come in sizes to suit both UK and USA standard frame sizes:
8" x 10"

It is recommended that anyone buying from outside of the UK, buys a print only version of the prints, because it is safer to travel artwork overseas rolled.
A mount is an acid free cardboard edging that serves a few purposes:
- it provides a white space between the frame and the print, which enhances the aesthetic look of your print once framed
- it adds a layer of protection to your print during travel
- it enhances its presentation if being gifted

Fine art prints are printed using premium archival-grade pigments on gallery quality fine art acid free paper, meaning with the right care and framing, your print can last a lifetime.
This print is limited edition, meaning that once the full run has sold out, no more will be produced. Each print comes numbered, signed and with a certificate of authenticity.
Hand Embellishing
This new collection of fine art prints will be hand embellished with colour pencil. Each piece will have its own unique markings added onto the print to enhance the portrait.
Your print will be made to order, hand signed, hand embellished and packaged by me from my studio.
U.K. orders will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 Hour. Prints will either be sent flat or rolled.
International orders will be sent via tracked shipping and prints will be rolled.

My own nosy pony's portrait by Georgie was my very first commission ever. It was such a joy working with her and she made the process seamless! Even being in two different countries. The artwork is so lifelike and beautiful! I had to get on her list again for another commission and cannot wait!
I contacted Georgie after following her for some time and wanted to capture my old boy Duke in a portrait before it was too late. He has the softest soul and wobbliest lip. I couldn’t have received a more perfect piece. It moved me to tears knowing that my favourite view of my old boy will always remain with me.

Today I received my Desert Orchid drawing, in Georgie's Nosy Pony design. I am absolutely thrilled. This magnificent horse gave me so many happy memories as a child, so I will treasure this brilliant, quirky and original piece of artwork. It takes a lot of flare, talent, and time to create such a clever depiction of such a famous horse. I would highly recommend Georgie to anybody. The delivery was very efficient, and I'm just so pleased. I can safely say that Georgie's work will take pride of place in my living room imminently....

The title sums it up!
I have been rendered absolutely speechless and in tears by the drawing Georgie did for me. I requested a Nosey Pony Portrait of one of the Mounted Police Clydesdale’s I work with. His name is Prince, and he has my whole heart. I’m his person as much as he is my horse. Holding the drawing in my hands was such a surreal moment. No photo I’ve taken of him has ever come close to the beauty that this drawing holds.
The entire process of placing the Commission was seamless. The communication was flawless. The packaging? DROOLWORTHY!!! Honestly the best, and most considerate, packing of art I have ever seen.
I am already requesting to be added to the 2026 Commission List!! I will be asking Georgie for more artwork in the future! I truly cannot explain in words how wonderful the entire process of working with Georgie was. All I can say is that she has a lifelong customer in me!

Wow! I am so impressed and thrilled with my custom nosy pony drawing of my favorite dude Phil. I found Georgie on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her talent. I met Georgie at The Game fair in July 2024 and we discussed a potential commission of my 5 dogs who were with me. I loved her portrait of the 3 spaniels she had on display and was keen to have something similar of my pack! Georgie was great at keeping in touch and I felt really involved in the entire process from start to finish.
