Seeing deer around the fields near our horses is one of those quiet parts of country life that never loses its impact. A glimpse in the hedgerow still takes my breath away, especially in that split second where they stop, look straight at you, and decide what to do next! I wanted to create a print of a fawn to hold onto that moment in time and to remind us of the wildlife living amongst us.

I wanted to create a print that reminds you of the wild animals that live in the British countryside, whether you spot them or not - they are there! I loved the idea of having a mum and her cub touching noses, creating an intimate snapshot spotted amongst the grass.

The field mouse is small but full of personality and I wanted to create this print because these cute tiny little creatures are often overlooked, but they're a big are part of what makes the countryside so alive.
